Below is my resume, along with two other tailored to the Information Technology and Cybersecurity industries. When creating these resumes, I prompted ChatGPT to create these resumes for jobs that I would specifically be interested in from a starting level since I do not have a lot of work experience. I asked it further to expand on some of the experience I have and make the shorter points that briefly mention something down to bullet points instead of sentences. I think this turned out really well in terms of refining my resume and understanding how AI can streamline the creation process for specific industries. The AI resumes are a little longer than a page, but they are definitely more specific and work well in adding more skills that I have earned in my experiences. They are also more plain compared to my original resume, yet they get the point across the same if not better. I learned that prompt engineering and tailoring content for different audiences helps make you more aware of who the audience is and how to present yourself to them. It also makes you seem unique as opposed to “average” or “bland”.
